Frankfort, Ky is home to the Capital City Beekeepers Association. The club hosts monthly meetings (except December) that include programs and club business. It's a great way of meeting and networking with other beekeepers to help and support one another in the art of keeping bees. We host a variety of events that not only offer hive products, especially honey, to help create awareness and educate the public of the importance of bees.Click the "Events" button to see the latest and the "Beekeepers/ buy honey" tab to see a slide show of past events. We offer educational helps on the "Education" tab, and our interactive monthly “Newsletters” can be found by navigating from the "more" button above.
Monthly Meetings
Regular and Mentor Program Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month except for December. The first part of the meeting is a mentor program where new and expert beekeepers can meet to find answers to questions about their hives. The regular meeting follows the mentor program where old and new business is discussed.
Our next regular meeting will be March 26th, 2024 beginning at 6pm. All meetings are held at The Franklin County Extension office, 101 Lakeview Ct., Frankfort, KY.
